A business owner who purchased a baby and toddler class has been nominated young franchisee of the year.

Stephanie Gross, 27, bought Gymboree Play & Music in St Albans after working for the company for four years. Gymboree offers classes for children age nought to five teaching music, art and sensory play.

Since buying the company, Stephanie has expanded the business and redesigned and redecorated its site on Hatfield Road. She has also raised more than £1,000 for Gymboree’s chosen charity, the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

Stephanie said: “I am so happy and humbled to be recognised for all the hard work I have put in during 2017. The outcome has been fantastic! I love the brand and what Gymboree Play & Music stands for - it’s the perfect place for your children to come and play in a safe, fun and vibrant environment.”

The award ceremony will be held at the NatWest building in London on Tuesday, May 15.
