A DJ group for young adults with learning disabilities has been allocated £250 by a county councillor.
Roma Mills, councillor for St Albans North, has given the money to UR Crew, a group of over-18s with learning disabilities who organise DJ events throughout the district.
They say they intend to use the money to support their Summer schedule.
Councillor Mills said: “It is great to see young people with learning disabilities developing their musical talents and providing great entertainment to people in St Albans.”
She allocated the money from her Locality Budget, a sum of £5,000 given to every member of the council to support groups and projects in their area.
