Commuters using the Abbey Flyer this morning (Monday) experienced delays of up to an hour after a crane fell onto the track.
A lorry crashed into a bridge on Balmoral Road near Watford North station, causing the crane on the back of the vehicle to fall onto the track at about 7.45am.
No one was injured, but one train from St Albans cancelled and another delayed following the incident.
The track was cleared at about 9am.
