St Albans businesses will be joining in the fun at the city’s inaugural Comic Con this weekend.
Chaos City Comics and Rock Pop Candy will have stalls at the Westminster Lodge event, which will be held on Sunday.
They will feature alongside stars of TV and film, including Chris Barrie, who played Rimmer in Red Dwarf, and Julie Dawn Cole, who played Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
In addition, there will be a Han Solo in carbonite statue, an ET bike experience, and The Iron Throne from Game of Thrones. Artists such as Dave Gibbons, who worked on the Watchmen series, and Alan Cowsill, who co-wrote Avengers: The Ultimate Guide to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, will also be at the event, which will run between 10am and 5pm.
There will also be a cosplay zone and gaming zone.
