St Albans collision lands woman in hospital

A WOMAN in her 20s was taken to hospital this morning after her car collided with a white lorry near Park Street.

Firefighters had to cut her free from the burgundy Ford Focus at around 7.30am before she was transported to Watford General Hospital for minor injuries.

The A414 between Park Street and Hemel Hempstead was shut temporarily while the road was cleared and a vehicle recovered.
