VOLUNTEERS raised funds and awareness in St Albans city centre last week to mark World Aids Day.
Organised by the The Crescent in Russell Avenue, the market stall and collection saw them raise �350 from generous shoppers.
In conjunction with a separate event at the Load of Hay pub in Watford, the dedicated HIV support centre has raised almost �3,500.
