Mums and dads can buy last minute presents while the youngsters get ready for Christmas at a drop-in party this Saturday.

Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre, operated by Everyone Active in partnership with St Albans district council, is organising the yuletide party.

For little ones aged five to eight there will be games and a bouncy castle, parachute and soft play area. Older kids can play more structured sports including netball matches lead by a Hertfordshire Mavericks coach.

Everyone Active general manager Lesley Garner said: “The Christmas holidays are an exciting time for youngsters and family’s alike, so we are delighted to be hosting a Christmas party. We look forward to welcoming the younger members of our community into the centre and spreading the festive cheer, whilst enabling parents to finish any last-minute Christmas errands.”

It is from 10am to 12pm on December 23 and costs £5 per child - book using 01727 736 080.
