FOUR cars had their paintwork damaged in a St Albans road last month after an unknown substance was squirted on them.

The cars - a silver Peugeot 307, white Vauxhall Astra, white Volkswagen Transporter van and black Peugeot 206 - were parked in Green Lane at the junction at High Oaks.

The vandalism occurred some time between 2pm on Saturday, May 18, and 4am the following day.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
