St Albans bookmakers robbed for the second time in two weeks

A bookmakers in St Albans has been robbed this afternoon (Friday) for the second time in two weeks.

A man is said to have entered Ladbrokes on St Peter’s Street at about 1.30pm and threatened a member of staff before taking a quantity of cash from the till and making off.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police are currently carrying out enquiries at the scene and a search is under way to trace the person responsible.
