Commuters have been warned that Thameslink trains may be rammed this rush hour (August 15).
Earlier today a South West Trains service derailed just outside London Waterloo, causing major disruption to routes from that station.
National Rail have warned that all Thameslink lines are expected to be even busier than usual, as people take alternative routes home.
St Albans and Harpenden are both Thameslink stations.
