COMMUTERS have a grim start to the week with major problems on the Thameslink line.
First Capital Connect have warned of cancellations and delays due to an earlier overhead line problem between West Hampstead Thameslink and St Albans City in the Elstree area.
Although all lines have now reopened, train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised at short notice. FCC said an estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed.
Passengers using Twitter have reported a lack of information and announcements at stations.
* Herts Ad editor Matt Adams will be meeting FCC bosses for their annual face-to-face summit in mid-February. If you have an issue you’d like him to raise with Neal Lawson and his team, please email hertsad@archant.co.uk heading your email “FCC meeting”.
