CLOTHING used to promote an annual St Albans sports charity event has completed a marathon journey, to help children in West Africa.
About 2,000 Herts 10K t-shirts have recently been donated to Football Gambia, a charity set up by Ian Stapleton, of St Albans.
Football Gambia provides education and sports equipment and its volunteers teach skills to villagers in West Africa.
The charity uses football to help engage with and provide education to youngsters.
The t-shirts were shipped for distribution to villages, to provide much-needed clothing for children in need.
