THIS was the scene following a crash along a busy St Albans road yesterday afternoon which sparked traffic chaos.

The incident involving two cars happened at around 2.30pm in Hatfield Road near the Morrisons supermarket, and it caused tailbacks until around 4pm as the recovery truck made its way to the scene.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
