FIVE beauty pageant wannabes from the local area have made it through to the Miss Hertfordshire finals.
Over 75 women aged between 17 and 24 entered the Miss Hertfordshire semi final auditions at The Galleria in Hatfield last weekend (28) and, of the 40 who went through, five live in and around St Albans.
Alexandra Saetta, 19, of Radlett, Emma Louise Cargill, 20, of St Albans, Hayley Evans, 22, of Harpenden, Sheila Lynch, 23, also of Harpenden and Stephanie Martin, 18, of Bricket Wood will all compete in the Miss Herts final on May 16 in Stevenage.
Miss Herts will represent the county at the national Miss England final in July and, if crowned Miss England, she will represent the country at Miss World 2010 and compete to win first prize of �100,000.
