A teenage boy was discovered badly injured at a bus stop in St Albans city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning (26).
The 16-year-old was found by a member of the public at a bus stop in St Peter’s Street, close to the doctor’s surgery, between 2am and 2.35am after his mobile phone was stolen.
He was taken to hospital with cuts and bruising to his head and face and was still there today (Monday) although his condition is improving.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information and anyone who can help is asked to make contact on the non-emergency number 101, anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or through their anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
