One half of a drum and base duo who lives in Harpenden faces an anxious two days as he awaits this Sunday’s official chart to be aired on Radio 1.

Joe Lenzie, a former Sir John Lawes School pupil, along with Cameron Edwards - aka Sigma - are signed to Universal Records and are with their subsidiary dance label, 3beat.

Sigma’s latest single “Nobody to Love” which was just released last Sunday has already come in at No 1 in the mid-week charts and looks set to stay there for the official chart this weekend.

Joe said: “I’m feeling really excited and overwhelmed; it all feels a bit surreal as this situation has come around quite quickly but it has taken a long time to get to this point in our career.”

The duo recently produced a track for Ellie Goulding’s last album, and are working with the likes of Jess Glynn and Example.
