SEVERAL vehicles were targeted by vandals in St Albans at the weekend, prompting a police appeal for information and witnesses.

Five vehicles were targeted on Grove Road, between midnight and 8am, on October 30.

A wing mirror was knocked off a green BMW saloon and wing mirrors were damaged on a grey Seat Ibiza, an Audi A6 estate and a green Jeep. A black VW Polo received damage to a wing mirror and the bonnet.

PC Lee Hammond, investigating, said: “This is mindless vandalism and I am keen to trace those responsible.

“If anyone has any information on these crimes – if they saw any suspicious activity or even know who is responsible – I would encourage them to contact me.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Hammond via the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
