SEVEN local names have appeared on a leaked list of members of the British National Party revealed on the internet this week.
They were among the 12,000 people identified as belonging to the far-right party in a document giving the party's entire membership list for 2007 including names, addresses, jobs and phone numbers.
The list has now been removed from the internet amid fears that the listed BNP members could be targeted by anti-fascist groups.
Four of the names were residents of St Albans with one in the Park Street area and the others in Wheathampstead and Colney Heath.
