A SUSPICIOUS fire broke out in a storage cupboard of a flat block which was also subject to a similar incident last week.
Firefighters from St Albans were called to Haseldine Road in London Colney just after midnight yesterday morning (Thursday) where they found a blaze in a communal storage area.
They quickly put out the fire but the ground floor of the building was heavily smoke logged.
Another fire broke out in the bin storage area of the block of flats early last week.
Both incidents are being treated as criminal damage by the police and investigations are underway. Anyone with any information should contact 0845 3300 222.
