A SCHOOL’S planning application for a new multi-use games area has been declared invalid by the district council.
Nicholas Breakspear School’s proposal for the scheme was due to be considered at Monday evening’s planning development control committee south but it has now been removed from the agenda.
Heather Cheesbrough, head of planning and building control at St Albans district council, said: “Following careful consideration, we have taken the view that the application is invalid and cannot therefore be determined.
“We consider that notice of the application was not served on the relevant landowners 21 days before the application was submitted to the local planning authority as required under section 327A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.”
