A Ryder Cup star is heading to a St Albans golf club to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
European tour pro and Ryder Cup star David Howell will be coming to Verulam Golf Club on Saturday, March 24 for a meet and greet and a three-course meal.
The event has been organised by David Salter, who was part of the St Albans City Football Club team which cycled to Amsterdam last year to support the charity.
He said: “We’re in a Ryder Cup year so to have someone who has been victorious twice to headline our event at the home of the competition itself is a massive coup.
“It’s for a great cause and hopefully we can encourage as many people to support the event as possible.”
Tickets cost £75 and all profits will go to Prostate Cancer UK. To book go to https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/an-evening-with-david-howell-for-prostate-cancer-uk-tickets-40077304296
