The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile is being held in Harpenden for the third year next month and needs to attract as many people as possible.

It is being held on Sunday, March 20, and after setting off from Rothamsted Park, it will go through the surrounding countryside including the Nickey Line.

Tom Doe from Camp Green, a local outdoor fitness company and organisers of the event, said: “The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Harpenden is here and it’s your time to walk or run yourself proud. From little ones with their mums and dads, to runners up against the clock there’s something for everyone to make themselves feel proud on this special day.”

Sport Relief runs from Friday, March 18, until Sunday, March 20 and half of all the money raised is spent helping people in hardship in the UK with the remainder used to make a difference in the world’s poorest communities.
