Tippendell Lane in Park Street has been reopened to traffic following a collision earlier this afternoon (Wednesday).
A spokesman for Herts Police said that the service joined firefighters and ambulance officers at the scene of a collision which occurred at 2.10pm on Tippendell Lane, near the junction with Penn Road.
He said one person injured in the collision between a Mercedes and Nissan Note was taken to Watford Hospital for further treatment.
No further information was available.
The vehicles were removed and Tippendell Lane was reopened at 4.20pm.
