Gary Jennings, 51, of St Albans, also known as Christian De Vriess, was sentenced on May 13 for indecent assault and indecency with a child after sexually abusing two children under 10 from 2000-2003.

He received a nine-year jail term with a further two years on licence.

Since his conviction, an anonymous source, who has known the pervert for a number of years, has come forward with more information about his sordid past.

The source believes that other victims have not yet spoken out out about abuse at his hands.

The person, who did not want to be named, spoke about Jennings’s time working as a bouncer a number of years ago around St Albans and Watford and how he relished his power.

He enjoyed a string of sexual encounters with teenage girls, the source claimed. adding: “He was a womaniser. He attracted people with his talk. He was mainly interested in young girls.”

Jennings has five different aliases and is also known as Christian De Vriess, Gary Atkins, Christian Phillips, and Gary Phillips, according to the source.

He has been convicted of various offences while under the alias Christian De Vriess.

In 2008 he was convicted of benefit fraud after claiming more than £13,000 in income support while working at a St Albans funeral parlour, but only served three days of his six week sentence following an appeal.

The source added: ‘He’s managed to get himself out of so much. He’s a worm.’

He was also convicted in 2013 of criminal damage, producing cannabis and stealing electricity.

Jennings had slashed the tyres of 18 vehicles while drunk near his former home in Richard Stagg Close in April 2011.

Police then visited his home where they discovered he was growing about 100 cannabis plants and stealing electricity to power the mini drugs factory.

The source added: ‘He’s a deceitful, snaky, slimy snake. I wouldn’t let him near a dog let alone children. I have spoken to you because I want people to feel like they can speak out.’

Anyone with information about Gary Jennings is asked to contact police on 101. Alternatively, victims can seek confidential support without notifying the police through Beacon, the Herfordshire victim care centre, on 0300 011 55 55.
