Rennie Grove Hospice Care is bringing two Light up a Life ceremonies to St Albans this December: one courtesy of the Mayor’s Carol Service on Sunday December 11 at 4pm by the Clock Tower on St Peter’s Street and one the following Sunday December 18 at Grove House from 4:30pm.

The non-denominational services offer an opportunity for families and friends to come together and reflect on the memories of loved ones in a supportive and peaceful environment. They are open to everyone, not just those touched by hospice care.

As well as - or instead of - attending a ceremony, you can choose to dedicate a light in memory of a loved one as a symbolic way to remember someone special. Your light will shine on one of our Christmas trees and your donation will help other families affected by life-limiting illness. You’ll receive a special dedication card, which you can choose to receive by post or email, and this year, for the first time, there will also be the opportunity to have your dedication listed on our special web page and in our Light up a Life Memory Book, available to view at the Grove House service on December 18.
