A St Albans pub is set for an extensive refurbishment, unveiling its new look in time for Halloween celebrations.
The Slug and Lettuce in Victoria Street will undergo a £350,000 renovation, creating 12 new jobs. As well as a new decor and colour scheme, the additions will include a cocktail masterclass station, an extended dance floor and new seating.
The bar will re-open on Tuesday, October 24, and will offer deals throughout the week, with two-for-one cocktails, and reductions on wine and prosecco.
General manager David Riddell said: “We are so excited to showcase our new look site to the people of St Albans.
“Not only will are our elegant interior provide the perfect venue, but with such a great cocktail and drink offering throughout the week, we are looking forward to providing the people of St Albans a bar that they can enjoy for a night of sophistication and fun.
