REDBOURN: Family tree investigations which revealed how residents of a village are linked are behind an exhibition in St Mary’s Church Hall in Redbourn today.

It is the work of Gemma Vickery who got hooked on researching her family tree when she was a teenager. When she moved on to investigating her mother’s family tree, she realised just how many families in the village she was related to: “We have so much evidence to back all this up that we decided to put on an exhibition to show the village who is related to who.”

The exhibition, which is open to all, runs from 9am until 5pm and features photographs, Herts Advertiser articles and Gemma’s family tree.
