Robbers raided a Redbourn petrol station in the early hours of this morning, making off with cigarettes and soft drinks.
The criminals gained entry to the Shell garage in Redbourn Road at around 3.40am by forcing open a metal shutter and smashing the front doors.
Scenes of crime officers spent several hours examining the scene.
