A HOUSE in Redbourn was flooded yesterday (Sunday) afternoon after a pipe in the loft burst.
Firefighters from Redbourn and St Albans were called to the scene in Down Edge at around 1pm.
It is thought that something had fallen on a pipe in the loft, causing it to burst and spill water down into the property.
A St Albans firefighter said that it left a significant amount of flooding but that the crews managed to pump away most of the water.
