Redbourn is holding its annual Fun Run later this month to raise money for charity.

The Fun Run is taking place at Redbourn Leisure Centre, run by the Redbourn Fun Run Committee and hosted by Everyone Active, on Sunday, May 20. Runners will be able to choose between a 1km, 3km or 5km distance, and there is also a relay race for children aged seven to 11 to run in teams of four.

This year the event will raise money for the charity Music for my Mind, which aims to improve the quality of life of people with dementia through listening to personalised music.

One the day there will be a face painter, a glitter tattoo stall, a pancake bar and a barbecue run by the Redbourn Scout Group.

Redbourn Leisure Centre general manager Lesley Garner said: “We could not be more proud or excited to host, once again, this fantastic family affair.”

Entry costs £6 for 1km, £9 for 3km and £11 for 5km and £12 for a team of four in the relay.
