A hospice which cares for people with life-limiting illnesses has been boosted by a cheque worth nearly £8,500.

St Albans law firm Rayden Solicitors has raised £8,496 for its charity of the year for 2017, The Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted, which helps people from west Herts and south Bucks.

Their head of corporate fundraising Carolyn Addison said: “We are continually inspired by and grateful for the incredible things organisations do to help us meet the challenge of funding our vital services, like Rayden Solicitors who have raised a staggering £8,496 for the hospice.

“I’d like to thank everyone for their continued support, which will enable us to continue to make a huge difference to people’s lives.”

The Hospice requires £5m a year to keep running and Rayden Solicitors Berkhamsted office will continue to support the hospice as their charity of the year for 2018.
