Raiders steal large quantity of cigarettes from off-licence

A LARGE quantity of cigarettes were stolen from an off-licence in Chiswell Green on Saturday afternoon.

Two men went into Threshers Wine in Tippendell Lane and while they distracted a member of staff, a third man stole the cigarettes. All three then left the store in an unknown direction.

The men were all white and the first was about six feet tall and aged in his late thirties. He had short dark brown hair and was wearing a black baseball cap with a white-and-silver emblem on top and a white t-shirt.

The second man was about 5ft 8in tall and aged in his mid to late fifties. He was of large build and had curly brown messy hair which was greying and wore a pink t-shirt and light blue jeans.

The third man wore a white sweatshirt and light-coloured baseball cap.
