A FREQUENTLY-patched stretch of road with numerous potholes is to be properly resurfaced.

Peter Jeeves, who lives in Watling Street, Radlett, says he has repeatedly complained to Herts County Council about the state of his road, especially between Goodyers Avenue and Park Road.

He added: "I have been reporting potholes and the like for around two years. They have been patched up but I have taken pictures which prove these surfaces are completely fractured and unable to hold a filling for long."

Now Herts Highways is to completely renew the surface.

A spokesperson said: "Work will start on March 30 and is expected to take around three weeks. To minimise disruption the work will be carried out at night with diversions in place.
