Radlett Festival will see celebrities take centre stage

Celebrities Jilly Johnson and Paul Young will be taking to the stage as comperes at this Sunday’s Radlett Festival on the Philimore Recreation Ground.

The model and the singer will join Radio Verulam’s Alexander Bermange in introducing a variety of performers including mountain bike stunt team Savage Skills, St Albans City Band, the Watford Eclipse Majorettes, Radlett Light Opera Society and the Singing Circle.

The annual festival will feature over 50 stalls, a fun fair, a dog show and, new this year, a childrens’ village with lots of activities for the under-sevens.

There will also be a wide range of food and drink available.

It gets underway at 12noon and runs to 4.30 pm with all profits going to local charities.
