A quick-thinking neighbour saved the day after witnessing an alleged burglary at a house in Radlett.
Herts Police were to called to the village’s railway station after 7pm on Thursday, March 5 after the neighbour witnessed the incident at the home in Shenley Hill, and dialled 999.
Ionel Bahnean, 25 from Clovelly Avenue, London, pleaded guilty to burglary at Hatfield Remand Court on March 7.
He will appear before St Albans Crown Court on April 2.
Herts Police have advised residents to make sure they double-lock and secure any doors and windows before going out, as well as considering installing alarms and security lighting.
