Purse Stolen From Harpenden Supermarket

A PURSE was stolen out of a handbag left in a supermarket trolley last Friday (8). The dark green purse, which contained cash and credit cards, was taken between 1.50pm and 2pm from a trolley inside Waitrose on Leyton Road in Harpenden. PC Mark Chipchase

A PURSE was stolen out of a handbag left in a supermarket trolley last Friday (8).

The dark green purse, which contained cash and credit cards, was taken between 1.50pm and 2pm from a trolley inside Waitrose on Leyton Road in Harpenden.

PC Mark Chipchase said that police are appealing for anyone who saw the theft to come forward: "Other shoppers may have seen the thief or the actual theft take place and we would like to speak to you."
