CUSTOMERS of a Harpenden pub were delighted to see that it had been decorated for St George's Day yesterday (Wednesday).
Shelley Reshat, landlady of The Oak Tree, had - with the help of her regulars - covered the Leyton Green pub in red-and-white flags.
Shelley, aged 40, who took over the pub, formerly named The Oddfellows Arms, 18 months ago, said: "All the pubs get done up for St Patrick's Day so I assumed everyone did the same for St George's Day. But then people started coming in congratulating me for putting the decorations up.
