A STUDENT from St Albans has won an election to become the president of the law society at her university.
Amy Faraday, aged 19, of Midway, is currently in her second year studying law at Exeter University and beat off stiff competition from two other candidates to become the president of its Bracton Law Society. Amy, a former Killigrew and Parmiter's pupil, has already delivered her first speech to more than 100 delegates visiting the university from overseas.
Her other roles will include organising events, developing relationships with leading law companies, looking after visiting dignitaries and representing the university at law events throughout the country.
