AROUND 50 homes in Bricket Wood were without power for nearly 36 hours this week.
Residents of the School Lane area lost their electricity supplies in the early hours of Tuesday morning and power was only reinstated at around midday yesterday after generators were brought in.
EDF Energy engineers were still working to locate the fault well into yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.
A spokesperson said: “Our engineers worked late into the night to try to fix the fault but the decision was taken to provide generators while this is taking place as our main priority is to provide power to our customers.
“We appreciate how difficult it is to be without power and apologise to our customers for the inconvenience.”
