A POWER cut that struck Harpenden in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday) has not yet been fully repaired by midday.
The incident occurred at 1:25am as a result of faults on different parts of EDF Energy underground cable network. More than 400 customers were affected and so far engineers have managed to restore power to a majority of them.
A spokesperson for EDF said: "Our engineers are working to restore supplies to the remaining 161 customers as quickly as is safely possible. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
