Images of a couple who left an off licence with drinks after making no effort to pay have been released by police.

The theft occurred at 6pm on Tuesday, October 8, in Wine Rack, High Street, Harpenden. The man and woman went into the shop and picked out items including brandy and soft drinks which were placed into a bag before they left without paying.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Herts Police non-emergency number 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
