Police search St Albans address in terrorism investigation

Police are searching a St Albans address as part of an investigation connected to terrorism in Syria.

Francis Avenue is one of 12 addresses currently being searched as part of a wider police investigation, the other 11 being based in West London.

The searches come after a West London man was arrested this morning on suspicion of terrorism offences.

Police were spotted at the address this morning (Wed) and are suspected to still be on the scene.

No one at the St Albans address has been arrested.
