POLICE investigating a burglary in St Albans have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Between 10pm and 10.10pm, on November 21, a man gained access to the office area of the Black Lion Hotel, on Fishpool Street and opened the safe. A large amount of cash was taken.

PC Matthew Langley, investigating, said: “We are really keen to speak to the man in the footage or for anyone who recognises him to get in touch. He may be able to assist with the police investigation.

“We would also ask if anyone knows anything about the incident to please contact us.”
