CCTV pictures have been released by police searching for three men in connection with a robbery at a clothing store in St Albans city centre.

It happened at around 4.45pm last Tuesday, October 27, at the Silver Rivet store in The Maltings.

With the third man waiting outside, two of the men went into the shop and started to pick up high-value clothing. The store manager became suspicious but when he went to close the shop door, he was confronted by the third man who had a small silver knife and shouted at the others to get out.

All three ran off towards London Road and the Blockbuster car park.

The trio stole 29 pairs of designer jeans of True Religion and Ed Hardy brands, various Ed Hardy t-shirts and four True Religion denim jackets.

DS Jason Finnegan asked anyone who witnessed the crime, had any information or had been offered any cheap designer clothing to call the police non-emergency number on 0845 3300 222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
