Police hunting suspects after attempted St Albans burglary

ST ALBANS: Two men are being sought by police following an attempted burglary last Tuesday, September 14.

It happened just after 11am in Pinewood Close when the men tried to get into a house through a rear window. They were described as white, aged between 35 and 40 and both with heavy builds.

One was around 5ft tall with black cropped hair and a large stomach. He was wearing a black long-sleeved T-shirt with blue stonewashed denin jeans and black trainers. The second man was said to be around 5ft 8ins tall with grey balding hair and wearing a light blue v-neck long-sleeved top which was either thick cotton or fleece material.

Dc Wendy Tomlinson from the Local Crime Unit in St Albans said police had quite good descriptions of the two men seen leaving the house.
