Police hunt for stolen golf buggy

A RED golf buggy was stolen from a local club last Monday and police are still trying to trace it. They are appealing for witnesses and information following the theft at around 10pm. The buggy, a red Yamaha, was later seen at around 1.15am on Tuesday day

A RED golf buggy was stolen from a local club last Monday and police are still trying to trace it.

They are appealing for witnesses and information following the theft at around 10pm. The buggy, a red Yamaha, was later seen at around 1.15am on Tuesday day on Marford Road, Wheathampstead, travelling in the direction of Welwyn Garden City.

A 19-year-old man from Wheathampstead was arrested in connection with the incident and bailed until July 11.

Pc Chris Payne from Hatfield Police Station said: "I am trying to trace the golf buggy and need the public's help. If you have seen the buggy, know its whereabouts or even been offered it for sale, then please get in touch with police."
