A HELICOPTER circulating London Colney is on the lookout for a man brandishing a bladed weapon.
The man, who is described as white, bald and in his 40s, was first spotted by a member of public just after 2pm on the High Street and again at around 3pm standing on the corner of Kings Road.
A police helicopter and patrol cars are currently searching for the fluorescent jacket-clad man, who apparently disappeared from the scene upon hearing the helicopter above.
The man has not yet threatened anyone with the knife, although the police wish to find him in the interest of public safety.
