Police called to suspected break-in at Tesco site

POLICE were called to a suspected break-in at the former Evershed print works in St Albans last night (Sunday). Concerned residents in the London Road area rang the police just after 9pm, claiming that the lights were on inside the building in Alma Road

POLICE were called to a suspected break-in at the former Evershed print works in St Albans last night (Sunday).

Concerned residents in the London Road area rang the police just after 9pm, claiming that the lights were on inside the building in Alma Road which is earmarked by Tesco for a new store.

Police searched the building but didn't discover any intruders.
