A DOCTOR who came to the aid of an elderly man who had been involved in an accident with a car and later died, is being sought by police as a possible witness.
They want to trace the doctor who helped at the scene of the accident shortly before 4pm on Sunday, May 11, at the junction of Hatfield Road and Granville Road, St Albans.
Pedestrian Sher Mohammad, aged 89, who was registered disabled and lived in Granville Road, later died in hospital
The driver of the red Ford Fiesta which was also involved in the accident was a 22-year-old man from Lincolnshire.
Pc Philip Watts said: "I am eager to trace the doctor as he may have some key information that could really help our investigation."
