Police are investigating after a man was threatened with a screwdriver at his home in Sandy.

Police attended a collision in St Albans after passengers and a driver deserted the vehicle.

Herts police were called at 10.53am today to reports of a crash on the A414 North Orbital Road, westbound between the Park Street and London Colney roundabouts.

A driver and two passengers made off from the vehicle in the direction of the Park Street roundabout.

Police arrived at the scene and located them.

An arrest was made but police have yet to release further details.

All lanes have now been opened.
